Why be a Glendale Pool Partner?
Glendale Pool is a neighborhood pool proudly serving families in the Newport News and Peninsula communities since 1961. Operated by the Glendale Pool Recreation and Civic Association, a nonprofit organization, the pool welcomes an average of 270 member families each season. Glendale Pool is also home to the Glendale Gators Swim Team, which includes approximately 130 swimmers ranging in age from 3 to 18.
As we prepare for the upcoming summer season, Glendale Pool is seeking partnerships with local businesses to help sustain pool operations and support our Glendale Gators Swim Team. We invite you to become a sponsor and join us in making a positive impact in our community.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels and are outlined below. Every contribution, no matter the size, is sincerely appreciated and directly supports our families and youth programs.

Swamp Sponsor: $150 per year
- Sponsor/Company banner (which company provides) to be placed on the inside of the pool fence for all members and guests to see (no larger than 3ftx5ft) for 2026 Season
- Recognition as a Sponsor on Social Media and GPRA Website
- Certificate of Appreciation and Team Photo
- Invite to set up a table/advertise at our beginning of summer open house free to the community
Marsh Sponsor: $300 per year
- Swamp Sponsor benefits, PLUS
- Sponsor logo on GPRA Website
- Sponsor logo on all membership emails during summer months
- Sponsor information (brochures and/or cards) set out at each Glendale Gator swim team home meets
Bayou Sponsor: $500 per year
- Marsh Sponsor benefits PLUS
- Link to Sponsor Website on GPRA Website
- Sponsor name announced at special events and before each home swim meet
- 10 guest passes for use by Sponsor’s families/employees (Authorized guest pass form must be filled out prior to attendance).
Everglade Sponsor: $750 per year
- Bayou Sponsor benefits PLUS
- 1 Complimentary Party (single time slot – all policies apply)
- Recognized as “Glendale Pool Honored Guest” at one home meet which includes dedicated display space for pop-up displays, tabletop exhibit, etc.
- Opportunity for sponsors to send an email to all pool members once a year. The sponsor will submit the email to the pool board, who will then distribute it at the sponsor’s requested time.
